Rotate the server's machine credential key
The server's machine credential is the key used by Devopness to connect to your server.
- On Devopness, navigate to a project then select an environment
- Find the
Serverscard - Click the
Viewin theServerscard to see a list of existingServers - In the list of servers, find the server for which you want to rotate the machine credential key and click the
NAMEof the server - On the upper-right corner of the server details view, click
ACTIONS - Use the drop-down menu to choose
Rotate Key - Wait for the
server:rotate-keyaction to be completed
Find your Server IP Address
Having the IP address of a server is useful when performing operations that require network connections to the server, such as log in to your server via SSH to run commands in a terminal or configuring a DNS record so your application can be accessed using a domain name.
