Rotate the server's machine credential key

The server's machine credential is the key used by Devopness to connect to your server.

  1. On Devopness, navigate to a project then select an environment
  2. Find the Servers card
  3. Click the View in the Servers card to see a list of existing Servers
  4. In the list of servers, find the server for which you want to rotate the machine credential key and click the NAME of the server
  5. On the upper-right corner of the server details view, click ACTIONS
  6. Use the drop-down menu to choose Rotate Key
  7. Wait for the server:rotate-key action to be completed

Find your Server IP Address

Having the IP address of a server is useful when performing operations that require network connections to the server, such as log in to your server via SSH to run commands in a terminal or configuring a DNS record so your application can be accessed using a domain name.
